If boredom is resistance to what is presently perceived as undesirable, then let's get clear what it is you want, makes you happy or desire. Come to the present, find peace within and learn what it is that makes you put your socks on and go!

Below you will find quick hacks to get you moving. Read, search, play - - take what you need! The important thing is that you allow yourself to shift, even if it is a teeny-weeny shift in perspective, in your thinking, in your feeling. Shifts are subtle ways to seeing things from a different perspective, acquire some self-love, self-compassion, and harness the strength to keep on going. That is why they say that the tinnies shift of them all can actually move mountains. But as spiritual seekers, we know our environment is a product of how we are feeling inside. So let's start with feeling better ourselves and this helps us shift our environment.

3. Figure out what you really want to do.
Boredom often masks a problem where you want to do a particular activity but something is preventing you. This could happen when you want to watch your favorite television show, but the cable is out. When this happens, the first step to killing boredom is to simply recognize the activity that you truly want to be doing.

2. Meditate.
This has become my default activity in cases of extreme boredom. Why? Because there is so much peace within available for you at any time. So when you are feeling board reach out of peace.

1. Change to an “abundance mentality”.
Instead of thinking about the problems and difficulty and obstacles, think about the possibilities and opportunities presented by this task or project. By thinking of it in this way, you are more likely to want to do something, knowing the reward and benefits that come from actually getting it done.
