The Power of Intention by
An intention is generally viewed as a certain kind of determination propelling one to succeed at all costs by never giving up on an inner picture. In this view, an attitude that combines hard work with an indefatigable drive toward excellence is the way to succeed. However, the intention is viewed very differently in this book. Dr. Wayne W. Dyer has researched intention as a force in the universe that allows the act of creation to take place. This book explores intention -- anything you do -- as an energy you're part of.

Be The Warrior Not The Worrier - Fighting Anxiety & Fear by Angela Ceberano TEDxBedminster
How to Handle Situations That Are Out of Your Control by
Happiness is continuous momentum, and in order to ride this wave as smooth as possible from you know...old emotions or sad commercials, we need a technique to swerve around your negative triggers. The good news, there is a way through every block. Let's work on a powerful breathing technique called ego eradicator. This technique will remove all blocks, release negative thoughts and open up your body to feeling good.
This simple breath is known to produce complex inner changes as we let go of the tension that we may have stored in our body. Strong emotions may start to emerge as blocks and subconscious wounds are released and cleared. It is a powerful way to release negativity and cut through anything that is blocking you. We store our emotions in our lungs, so when you open your lungs through the breath, release happens.
This technique also increases vital energy, strengthens the magnetic field and repairs and balances the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Be patient and continue a daily practice, you will feel cleansed of all toxic thoughts. If you have a big event – a presentation or something that requires mental focus, or you are feeling nervous – try this for one minute.
Deep diaphragmatic breathing is a powerful anxiety-reducing technique because it activates the body’s relaxation response. It helps the body go from the fight-or-flight response of the sympathetic nervous system to the relaxed response of the parasympathetic nervous system. Learn how HERE.
2. Accept that you're anxious.
Remember that “anxiety is just a feeling, like any other feeling. Acceptance is critical because trying to wrangle or eliminate anxiety often worsens it. But accepting your anxiety doesn’t mean liking it or resigning yourself to a miserable existence.
1. Question your thoughts.
When we feel anxious, our brains start coming up with all sorts of outlandish ideas, many of which are highly unrealistic and unlikely to occur. Question these thoughts on what is facts vs. imagination. Anxiety can produce a lot of negative chatter. Tell yourself positive coping statements and bring yourself back to the truth.
Practice this before you fall asleep or in the morning. “Grounding and centering” is a visualization and meditation exercise you can use to focus yourself on the present and learn to feel more whole, more aware. Try it whenever you are stressed, worried, or nervous. The image of a tree evokes feelings of stability and connectedness for many people. This may take some practice, but with diligence, you may find that this exercise helps you live in the moment.

After you experience these, you will never want to leave your house without them! Hola! Essential oils! Yeah, yeah, these poor little life helpers have such a bad reputation, but it’s your loss if you are not willing to try them out! It is science that will dissolve their bad rep.
Using essential oils stimulates the olfactory system, the part of the brain connected to smell, including the nose and the brain. Once aromas are registered, scent travels faster to the brain than both sight or sound. Molecules that enter the nose or mouth pass to the lungs, and from there, to other parts of the body. Sending signals to the limbic system which is a part of your brain that plays a role in emotions, behaviors, sense of smell and long-term memory.
The limbic system is heavily involved in forming memories. This can partly explain why familiar smells can trigger memories or emotions. The limbic system also plays a role in controlling some unconscious physiological functions, such as breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure. Essential oils can exert a physical effect on your body in this way. Some of the health benefits of aromatherapy include its ability to reduce anxiety, ease depression, boost energy levels, speed up the healing process, eliminate headaches, boost cognitive performance, induce sleep, strengthen the immune system, reduce pain, improve digestion and increase circulation. So there, why not use these beauties, when your thoughts seem to run around rent-free in your mind?
