We often get caught up in our to-do lists and worry about how we’re going to get everything done, so it’s essential to give your brain some time to breathe. After all, if your mind isn’t working correctly, nothing is going to work correctly! One of these will catch your attention, if it feels good, do that a lot!

        • Go AU NATURAL.
        • And by this I mean go outside, where there is grass, sand, water! There is a reason the earth is for lovers! Nature has a unique way of decompressing us and showing us a different way! Get your free hugs!

         

         

        • MEDITATE EVERY MORNING
        • Taking five minutes out of your day to sit and use your breath At this point in life, we all know it's not ju-ju, but a legit health care habit. Om the day!

         

        • READ 10 PAGES A DAY
        • We all probably wish we read a little more, right? Try reading ten pages in the morning and ten pages at night, and you'll feel more awake, blessed & grateful!

         

        • DRINK TEA INSTEAD OF COFFEE/SODA.
        • Coffee is excellent, it wakes you up, and it's easier to go sweat! But tea has a special thing for it. It helps you to deeply appreciate the now, and slow down. So if coffee it's making you dehydrated and it's breaking your bank account, try switching your usual coffee or soda for a cup of tea. 

         

         

        • GET UP WHEN YOUR ALARM GOES OFF
        • It's always way to a.m. for life! But get in the habit of stop snoozing and get up right away. Even though you may want that extra bit of time in bed, you'll feel a lot less groggy if you get up.

         

        • LIMIT SCREEN TIME AFTER WORK
        • Most of us stare at screens all day, and then we come home and stare at screens some more or before bedtime. Adventure more often, get out of the screen world go wake up & sweat instead!

         

        • START A GRATITUDE JOURNAL
        • Gratitude attitude, my dear! When your heart is in this space, life flows! Write down 3-5 things you're grateful for every morning or every night!

         

        • 30 DAYS OF YOGA
        • Okay, but first Yoga should be your new mantra! Adriene put together an epic 30-day yoga plan that's perfect for any level of yogi. If you've been meaning to try Yoga or want to start doing it more regularly, I highly recommend taking the challenge, and you will end up a full yogini!

         

        • TRY THE ONE-TAB CHALLENGE
        • Yes, I'm talkin' about keeping only one tab open on your browser for a whole month. Oh - we triple dare you to slow down ;)

         

        • TAKE A 'M.E.' DAY.
        • Viva la barre! Pilates, yoga spa, you name it! But do something that makes your heart skip a beat, and get excited about it! Let this not become another chore! 

         

        • GOALS TO NOURISH YOUR BODY
        • We get it, working out is a hole situation in most households, but if you really can't get your butt to class, sit and breath! The magic is in the breathand if you give yourself this chance, you might eventually end up at the gym ;)

         

        • WALK AFTER DINNER
        • Adulting means doing whatever you want! Want to go on dinner walks every night? It helps to reset your brain, let your food digest, and get a nice healthy dose of fresh air before returning to your desk or couch.

         

        • SQUEEZE IN 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE 
        • Let's get real, real sweaty! You know how good it feels and how happy it makes you...after your done ;) If you struggle to squeeze in gym time (or don't have the motivation), tell yourself you only have to work out for 10 minutes. That way, you're more likely just to get started because it doesn't seem like a huge commitment.

        • Holly guac! If you're tired of having nothing to eat or spending all of your money on fast food, try setting yourself a goal to meal prep each week!

         

        • DEVELOP A WORKOUT ROUTINE
        • Consistency is essential when it comes to your health, and having a workout plan is going to help you stay on track, get you closer to meeting your overall wellness goals, and get your sweat on!

        • Warriors lead with their hearts! And your soul sits in your heart! Connect with it, empower your heart and soul to lead the way. Nourish this relationship daily with some meditation, music, hobbies, anything of your interest - you will soon learn to act, to no react!

        • See what your hometown and the surrounding area has to offer by visiting two places you've never been to before. Don't think about it twice, pack your backpacks and go! 

         

        • LEARN SOMETHING NEW
        • Whether you want to start learning a new language or something creative like calligraphy, take some time to challenge your brain in a new way. Get out of your head flow and incorporate some newness! 

         

        • DECLUTTER YOUR HOME
        • Attach not is the way to go. Make space for the new to come! I'm pretty sure it's not necessary to introduce you to Maria Kondo, on Netflix or her book, right? As she has us all in love with her beautiful way of seeing life!

         

        • TRY THE ENVELOPE SYSTEM
        • To save money and get a little wiser with your spending, try budgeting out your money for the month and keeping your cash in envelopes. You'll start to be more conscious of how you spend your paychecks, and your bank account is going to thank you! Stay gold, ma love!

         

        • GET STARTED ON ONE THING YOU'VE BEEN PUTTING OFF
        • Whether it's a task that's just been nagging at your forever or something bigger than you've wanted to start, don't give up! Just get moving, one action at a time! 

         

        • VOLUNTEER
        • Give back to your community by volunteering – even for just a day! It'll make you feel good, and you'll be doing a whole lot of good for others. Double whammy!

         

        • REACH OUT TO SOMEONE
        • Pick your vibe! Remember that why are social creatures, and when we need some advice, love, or just someone to hold space for us, it is up to us to reach up, get vulnerable and pick your vibe!
